TOP PIAA CLASS 6A TEAMS AT HOOP GROUP SHOWCASES IN READING AND ELIZABETH, NJ
This is the fourth in a series of postings on this site about upcoming showcases and tournaments involving Pennsylvania teams.
The view from here is that the preseason favorites to capture the 2021-22 PIAA Class 6A state championship are Lower Merion, Roman Catholic, and defending champs Reading. These three teams are all slated to play strong opponents in early season showcases sponsored by the Hoop Group, a New Jersey-based organization that teaches basketball skills. Games will be played at hour and a half intervals.
December 10 at Albright College, 6 pm

December 17 at Dunn Center, Elizabeth, NJ, 5pm
Roman Catholic vs. Trenton Catholic Academy (Trenton, NJ)
Blair Academy (Blairstown, NJ) vs. International Sports Academy (Willoughby, OH)
Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ) vs. Plainfield (Plainfield, NJ)
December 18 at Dunn Center, Elizabeth, NJ, 3 pm
Roman Catholic vs. St. Benedict’s Prep (Newark, NJ)
