Welcome to our newest version of LLhoops.com. The menu bar will take you to the sub pages. Find our feature writers/beats (Dell, Andy, Neast, Delaware, Berks) under the beats menu. The LL has 5 Sections- under the section tabs we have all the teams listed with their schedules and rosters. Circle W Sports has helped us with a redesign, which includes updated scores and standings on game day. The 2022-23 season will feature the 4 team format.

LLhoops.com has been a source for information on the Lancaster-Lebanon League since 2000. We are entering our 22nd year of digital coverage of the LL.

LLhoops has been recognized by various sources as credentialed media covering PA High School hoops (Lancaster–Lebanon League, District 3 PIAA, PA PIAA, and has been involved in selection of the ALL PA teams). Our online presence continues to grow as we consistently have over 100k unique followers plus many, many returnees. All of our writers twitter accounts continue to increase every year. During the 2021-22 season we averaged over 20,000 visitors per month.

LLhoops is the brainchild of Dell Jackson. Jackson coached (Penn Manor/Donegal) and played in the LL (Annville-Cleona ‘75). LLhoops was the first local site to post scores online on game day, posting digital picts (Dave Porter), updating standings, keeping and posting LL averages online (Tom Boyd), posting rankings both PA State and District 3 of the PIAA (Jerry Shenk), posting players of various decades (Dell, Jerry, Andy and various media/coaches), pre-LL info (Jerry) and keeping an accurate history of the LL-playoffs (Jerry Shenk/Dell/Andy- Archive). Bruce Badgley gives us a presence with live streaming and his updates on the Berks Beat. Andy Herr continues his streak of seeing each LL play every year. His wraps are a thing of beauty.

LLhoops continues to evolve. We have embedded our recent twitter account (@llhoops) and Facebook (facebook.com/llhoops/) to bring you game updates and re-tweets from fans/followers on game day. Our online interviews are a hit with our followers. Jon K (@LLHoopsNEPbeat) brings us second-to-none coverage of the Northeastern part of PA. Curtis Watkins adds a southern touch to LLhoops as he updates the Delaware beat (rankings of teams and players). Andy Herr, gives us a younger perspective and a reputation for going ALL over the LL. He has seven times covered EACH team in the LL. “Andy’s Take” features wraps of the games he has seen the previous week and is usually updated the day after the game. His use of twitter (@AndyBrackets) is enjoyed by many. Bruce Bagley as he brings us a new feature – Berks Beat. Bruce (@BruceBadgley) will add video links to our site as well as connecting with Berks County. Our announcers are excellent: Eric Thomas, Warren Goodling, Bruce Badgley, – guest announcers have included Jim Kreider, Chris Sherwood, and Doug Kraft. Photo galleries have been provided by Lee Vivian, Hosh Posh, Cisco Soto, and Mark22.

Groundbreaking…LLhoops was the first ever to live-stream the boys LL finals. In 2020 Llhoops will be the first to live-stream the LL Girls Championship, plus we will cover the boys finals. We will be the first at producing a live-stream AUDIO plus live interviews during a game. We poprvided some live stream games from Berks County as well- Jame Hein and Bruce Badgley called the games. LLhoops also introduced a new talk show (Pick and Roll) in the 2022 season.

We would like to thank the players, coaches, and AD’s for providing us with information and allowing us to be BIG FANS of the game.

A very special thanks to our advertisers. We cannot operate without their help. Any business that would like to sponsor the site or a particular page, please contact us: webmaster@llhoops.com.
