ALL LL team

Ed note: To do something of this magnitude is impoosible. My intentions here are historical and to give some of you the opportunity to email me and tell me who I missed.I talked to ex-coaches, current coaches, sportswriters, long time fans, ex-players, and even refs….Everyone had their favorites. Here is the critera for the LLHoops all LL. 1) a Dominate player, one who could take his team to another level. 2) Must have at least a 2 yr. LL career (No one yr. wonders on this team) 3) The players team should have been very good during their career. This list will never be complete, but I got an email about why don’t you have an all 90’s team and let’s try an all LL team for the year 2000. Some guys were automatic- Sam Bowie, Jack Hurd, Mike Wissler, Johnny Miller, and even Will Lasky…After that there, was a LOT of discussion and debate. Some weight was given to what the player did after the HS time but it did not knock a player out (Wes McFadden). I take this opportunity to thank all the people who helped with the process – most did not want to be mentioned by name…hmmmmm. I am sure that I “forgot” someone. However, I tried to interview lots of folks and take what they gave me and weigh it appropriately. The most difficult time was the early LL and the early 80’s. OK….here it is!
