Muhlenberg Runs Past Conrad Weiser 83-43

Written by: Bruce Badgley on February 10, 2021

“Let hem play” was the cry we heard all offseason for high school sports.  Well Muhlenberg is REALLY going to play.  Like five games in five days kind of play.  Due to snow days and other factors the Mules had to put together a difficult 5 in 5 stretch that included an afternoon tilt today with Conrad Weiser.   Despite a tough road loss to Reading High Tuesday night,  Muhlenberg (8-2) came out refreshed and on a mission Wednesday afternoon.  The Mules patented three point and running game were on point all game long.  The sharp performance netted an 83-43 victory over Conrad Weiser  (9-5)

11 of the 12 dressed players for Muhlenberg scored.  Leading the Mules in scoring was Abdul Conde with 12.  Jake Plummer had a game high 14 to pace the Scouts.

Muhlenberg showed no ill effects of the short turnaround for this matinée.  The Mules led 21-9 after one quarter

No Let up for the Mules in the second half

Three more days, three more games for the Mules.  1-1 so far this week. Muhlenberg has Chichester and 2 games with Daniel Boone.  Weiser hosts Berks Catholic Friday.
