Meet The New Guys: Episode II- Scott Gaffey (Solanco)

Truth be told, we’re not really sure if the title of this series, “Meet the New Guys,” is misleading or not for our next interviewee. 

After a one-year sabbatical of sorts away from us here in L-L country while he was off with the Littlestown Thunderbolts, Scott Gaffey, who we remember from recent years in leading the Ephrata boys’ basketball program, returns the league this year in taking the post at Solanco. 

We had the chance to chat with Coach Gaffey this week about his personal journey in crisscrossing the District 3 footprint over the course of the last year and change, why the Golden Mules’ job was attractive to him, the solid runway in which he finds the program, and what makes him excited to be back amongst familiar confines in Quarryville these days.
