Cross Court Vision: 2025 2026 Media Day Notes

The 2025-2026 LLHoops season officially kicked off yesterday with LNP’s Media Day. As was the case last year, I’ll use this space primarily to post quick observations from what I see during the season. Full Media Day Interviews on our YouTube Page Here

2025-2026 Media Day Notes:

1. Watch your head. A number of players told us they’ve added another level to their game… literally. Alley-oops, two handed tip slams and 360 dunks may all be on the menu this year in the LL. We won’t name any names for now, but if we get it on tape we’ll have to post it online… so be careful who you jump with

2. Meet the new guys. First year head coaches, old players in new jersey’s, and maybe even a couple “diaper dandies” look to have an immediate impact, particularly on teams that didn’t make the league post season last year. 

3. High expectations. This is not a prediction, it’s an observation. Teams around the league were very aware of Warwick, Octorara and Mennonite – for good reason: All three made the LL post season last year, all three will start 5 guys who either started or were material contributors last year, and all three are lead by a reigning LNP coach of the year. They should expect to take everyone’s best shot night in and night out.
