Meet The New Guys: Episode I- Franklin Wilson Jr (Northern Lebanon)

It’s the start of a new era in more ways than one this winter when it comes to the boys’ basketball program at Northern Lebanon. Aside from christening in a brand-new gym this year, the man with the keys to the new house itself will be different with Franklin Wilson Jr taking charge of the Vikings’ program in 2025-26. 

Although he does not have L-L League roots directly, he is anything but unaware of what success looks like in coming over from Harrisburg High, where he also played under legendary head coach, Kirk Smallwood, during his career with the Cougars. 

We recently had the opportunity to sit down and chat with coach about his roots, he and his players’ adjustment to each other at NL, along with his vision for the program. We thank Coach Wilson for taking the time while also looking forward to watching this next chapter of Northern Lebanon Hoops unfold.
