Position: Forward

Why did you decide to start playing basketball?
I grew up playing baseball most of the year when I was younger. I started to get burned out playing baseball 9 months out of the year and my mom thought it would be a good idea to play basketball to give me a break and help me be a more well-rounded athlete. A bunch of my baseball teammates and friends played basketball so I agreed and started playing in 5th grade.
What’s your favorite part of the game of basketball?
My favorite part of basketball has been the relationships I’ve made over the years. The Warwick coaching staff is an amazing group of coaches that have mentored me for years now. I’ve been blessed to be surrounded by great teammates that have become some of my best friends.
What NBA/College basketball player do you model your game after and why?
I wouldn’t say I really model my game after any individual player. I would say I am far less skilled and athletic than all college and NBA basketball players. I just try to use the skills God has blessed me with to help my team win.
What’s your favorite moment from your high school basketball career up to this point?
My favorite moment of my basketball career is undoubtedly sophomore year; leading the entire team in prayer for the first time before a game. My faith is far more important than basketball and that moment with all my teammates praying before a game was a special moment. We’ve continued that tradition for 2 years now and that has been special to be a part of.
What are your goals for the upcoming 2024-2025 high school basketball season?
Continue to honor and give all the glory to God.
What are your plans for after high school?
I hope to attend a military academy and pursue a career in the military.
