Timmy Hambright (Cocalico)- 1,000 Career Points

Written by: Andy Herr on February 1, 2026

Friday night was significant night for the Cocalico Eagles boys’ basketball team for a variety of different reasons. First and foremost, Cocalico did something that no other Section Two team had been able to do this season, defeat Conestoga Valley, as the Eagles knocked off the division champs on the Buckskins’ home floor to hand CV their first league loss of the season.

Aside from the team’s victory, it was also historic in that it saw the inclusion of the newest member of the program’s 1,000-point club, Timmy Hambright, as Hambright now finds himself to be 9th player in Eagles’ history to do so in the win the win over CV. Additionally, Hambright now becomes the second Eagle in as many seasons to do so in joining 2025 alum, Camden Ochs, and is the third since 2016, putting him in club with his current assistant coach, Tucker Lescoe.

While Hambright had seemed poised for a breakout senior season, he has largely surpassed those expectations considering how he is currently leading the Lancaster-Lebanon League in scoring at over 25 points-per-game on average, a feat which includes a staggering mark of only three games shy of 20 points scored, including high-water marks of 30-point+ games on six occasions so far this season.

We congratulate Timmy on his momentous accolade and extend our well wishes to him in his future endeavors beyond suiting up for Cocalico.
