Welcome to the Keystone Chronicles

Fans, coaches, athletes, and scouts of the Mid-Penn Conference, welcome to the Keystone Chronicles. This will be the specific section for all your Mid-Penn coverage, which I will be writing for the upcoming basketball season as part of my sophomore year at LLHoops. I am looking forward to continuing where I left off last season, being the main journalist specializing in the Mid-Penn Keystone area which includes Mechanicsburg from the west shore to Hershey on the east shore and up north to Mifflin County in Lewistown. Despite my focus staying on that division, I plan to jump around to the other divisions in the Mid-Penn, including the Commonwealth, Colonial, and Capital divisions. I look to play a role in reporting in the Lancaster-Lebanon League along with the Mid-Penn, expanding the coverage I can offer to the fans with proper stats and insight.
That being said, I am planning on covering the Mid-Penn and LL media days this year, getting a sneak peek from teams before the beginning of the season in December. I am looking forward to the games throughout the season, including the holiday tournaments and the playoff race towards the end of January. I plan on attending some of the biggest matchups of the year, including a Red Land vs Cedar Cliff rivalry game, Hershey vs Lower Dauphin, and Milton Hershey vs Hershey, just to name a few. I will make a few trips this year to matchups farther away and hope to produce more content that is beneficial for players to gain exposure and for fans to gain a grasp on Central PA basketball. I also will have the chance to broadcast a couple of games this year and will enjoy being part of the media team here at LLHoops.
In upcoming news, I am currently in the process of recording and editing highlight videos for both the Keystone division and the Lancaster-Lebanon league for the 2024-2025 season which will be released as soon as it feels right to me. For context, I am a college student at Elizabethtown currently and with the workload, preseason content will be limited until the beginning of December. I look forward to meeting all of the fans, parents, players, coaches, and administration who make the high school basketball scene as electric as it is and I am happy to be a part of this organization to celebrate its 25th anniversary this year. For upcoming dates, events, and articles, check out my X (@KeystoneBBall) for all of your PA basketball information.
I only have one question for the season: Are you ready?
