The District Three Basketball Tournament is filled with regular season rematches. None was more lopsided than Warwick ‘s 64-36 win over Governor Mifflin in early January. Teams this time of year must have short term memories. In the case of the Mustangs, it must have only been a matter of minutes. Forgetting about the regular season drubbing and a 13 point second half deficit Governor Mifflin came out of nowhere to defeat Warwick 77-70 in double overtime Tuesday night

Bryce Harman and Greg Suber spearheaded the Mifflin comeback. Harman tallied a game high 26 and Suber added 19. Chase Yarberough paced Warwick with 24.

Warwick started quickly and moved in front in quarter one

Led by Yarberough Warwick pulled out to a 35-26 at halftime

Warwick poured it on through the third quarter  Then something clicked for the Mustangs and a 13 point Warriors lead was down to 6 after three

The fourth quarter had Warwick in front until with :37 Greg Suber tied the score  off to OT!

A back and forth first OT went to a second OT on a cold blooded three by Warwick’s Kai Cipalla.

Mifflin controlled the second OT  finally pulling away with the 77-70 win  Incredible!
