Press Break
The shows continue to get an excellent following, Last week we had NL’s Coach George. This week we have LS’ Ed Berryman as special guest. We are working to get some camera shy coaches to join us (ie Coach Walck and Coach Joe Klazas ). 🙂 Thanks to Spooky Nook Basketball for sponsoring our shows. We will try to get a new show up every week. Check out the show for some player recognition, input form coaches and general thoughts on the LL.

Some thoughts…

Sec 1…All teams have at least one loss. This section should be fun to watch as the season progresses. McCaskey gets a big win vs. TWP. Crest bounces back from a beat down at TWP, to beat then unbeaten Hempfield (47-44).

Sec 2..Warwick and Lebanon are sharing the top spot for now. Warwick beat Ephrata (44-41) this week. The Cedars beat Ephrata (55-48) and lost in a non-league game Sat. to Lower Dauphin (59-43). Etown is nipping at the top teams heals at 2-1.

Sec 3…LS continues to lead this section. The Pioneers have 3 games in the LL play, as there have been some covid issues with other games getting ppd in the Section. LS takes on 1-0 Cocalico this week.

Sec 4…Lancaster Catholic has W’s over ELCO, Northern Lebanon and Octorara. The Crusaders are not as big as in the past but they have a solid team. Looks as though ELCO could be the team that could give the Crusaders a battle for the top spot.

Sec 5…Finally we had some games this week. LCDay and PV have yet to get in an LL league game in the books. Hoping this week. A short-handed Columbia beat LMHS (73-70). The Tide sits at 1-0. It’s early, so not a lot to report on this section.

LLhoops site—-this and that.
We have been putting scores in 3 places this seasons. There is a side tab, scores page, and updated team pages. Thanks to all the twitter/scorebook folks who send us finals. Once we post the scores on the standings page, they will appear on the standings and team pages.

Standings will be under a tab on the main menu. Click standings, then this year.

The Facebook and Twitter logos on the main page will take you to LLhoops pages. If you want the share an individual page that you are checking out on you own accounts, click on the logo on the left corner of the page you are viewing, That should allow you to post/share the info from your own twitter/Facebook accounts. We appreciate all the love we can get.

Shop…we do have some t’s and masks available. If you are a player or parent, we can ship the item to your coach without the shipping and handling fee. Contact us at webmaster@llhoops.com

Team pages..can be found on drop down menu under sections. Also there is a link on the bottom of the page.

Sponsors…Sponsors appear on the right “slider” on all pages. The logos are linked to the sponsors web sites. Please consider using their services and thanks to all our sponsors. We could not bring you the content on the site without sponsors. As always, we welcome sponsorship of our site. Contact us webmaster@llhoops.com if interested. We have many lives-stream games on the schedule where sponsorship is appreciated.

Livesstream…We produced our first show this week – Hempfield/Penn Manor. We have new equipment and new producers, so we are working on making the broadcasts better each time. However, we still have the top flight announcers (Eric Thomas @ByEricThomas and Warren Goodling). In order to produce a game, we need permission to get into the gyms, get some sort of wifi connection, and get everything connected. Some equipment has been back-ordered for months, so we are a bit limited on camera angles. Major props to the AD’s of schools that allow us into their gyms.

If all goes well, this week’s games:
TWP@ Hempfield
LS @ Cocalico
Lebanon @ Warwick

This week…Check the schedule HERE. However, there are many moving parts with some game being postponed/canceled. We will try our best to keep everyone up to date. The strange thing is that most fans cannot attend the games 🙁
We will try to get to as many games as we can…try 🙂

Finally…it’s been a long time for us to get a full week of hoops in. Andy and Dell are more than happy to cover some LL games for our fans,. Our following has more than doubled from last season, proving there is a place for llhoops. We will try our best to get coverage of the LL’s if they are to take place. We should know more in a few weeks.

Enjoy another week of LLhoops!
