LANCASTER MENNONITE DEFEATS CAMP HILL 69-39

Lancaster Mennonite scored the first nine points in the game played at Camp Hill and easily defeated the hosts 69-39. Lancaster Mennonite’s man-to-man defense stifled Camp Hill’s perimeter oriented offense. Camp Hill committed eight turnovers in the first quarter and managed to score just one field goal in the opening frame and a total of seven field goals in the entire game. Lancaster Mennonite quickly built an insurmountable lead, and Camp Hill kept falling further and further behind.

Lancaster Mennonite has a disciplined offensive approach. They take advantage of fast break opportunities, and their break is almost always well structured. In half court sets, they are very unselfish, and they move the ball well and quickly. In this game, Camp Hill seemed mostly to look for outside shots, but their attempts rarely hit the mark. Camp Hill also had problems with ball security. On the plus side for Camp Hill, they got to the free throw line 33 times in this game, making 24 of the attempts, and 12 of their 29 rebounds were on the offensive glass. However, Camp Hill was never really in the game.

Lancaster Mennonite had a 41 to 29 rebounding advantage. Camp Hill committed 19 turnovers to 14 for the visitors. Camp Hill was 24 for 33 from the stripe, while Lancaster Mennonite was 6 for 10. Lancaster Mennonite made four 3 pointers, while Camp Hill made just one.
