(Denver) Elizabethtown picked  up on Tuesday right where they left off Monday. The Bears looked fresh and sharp for three quarters of this Lancaster Lebanon League Tournament Quarterfinal with Cocalico.  E-Town built an eight point lead going into the fourth quarter and had as much as an 11 point advantage in quarter four.  An then, in the time it takes to say 11 point advantage, Cocalico came storming back.  In the blink an eye, the Eagles made turnovers and steals turn into points.  Before E-town knew what had hit them, Cocalico came away with a 44-41 victory.

Hannah Custer led the Eagles fourth quarter charge scoring 12 of her game high 19 points in quarter four.  Elise Hassinger and Jade Love-Morris played solidly and had 14 and 10 points respectively for E-Town.

E-Town looked the better of the two clubs after one and held a 12-7 lead

Cocalico closed the gap in quarter two, but E-Town held a 21-19 lead at the break.

E-Town and Cocalico played a back and forth third quarter until the Bears moved the lead to 35-27 after three

E-town was up  by as many as 11 early  in the fourth .  Hannah Custer led the comeback for Cocalico and 44-41 win.

Cocalico moves on to play at Lancaster Catholic in a semi final Thursday.  E-Town’s season is not over as they wait to see who they will play in the District Three tournament.
