It was a huge Manheim Central third quarter that propelled the Barons to victory. Head coach Charlie Fisher certainly put the Manheim Central game plan into motion coming out of halftime. They were very deliberate on offense, getting the majority of their points in the paint from Enterline, Sam Witmer, and Jackson Tracy. They outscored Columbia 23-11 in the third quarter. Columbia struggled to get any scoring inside, and their perimeter shots were not falling. Manheim Central led 46-32 after three quarters.
Columbia tried to cut into the Manheim Central lead but got no closer than 11 points with 3:20 left in the game. The difference was Manheim Central’s dominance on the boards as they unofficially out-rebounded Columbia 33-20 and shot 8-10 from the foul line. Columbia struggled at the foul line, going 4-12. The turnover differential favored Columbia, 10 to Manheim Central’s 14.
