LL season tips off
Most teams will be opening Dec. 2nd with a variety of tournaments. LLhoops will have the match-ups on the weekly schedule- the team pages have some limitations on how we can enter information. All team schedules are posted although there will be some updates – go to sections, find your team and click on the link.

Preview
LNP media group has arranged for the teams and coaches of both girls and boys teams to meet with media after thanksgiving. Andy Herr and Bruce Badgley will be providing coverage for lllhoops. We are planning to release some interviews via the site from our Youtube page

Coverage continues!
This season we will again feature individual LL games via Dell and Andy. Andy’s goal is to see EACH LL team at least once. Jon K will keep the northeast part of the state covered (both boys and girls) with some help from Phil. David Kehler gives us a SEastern flavor with some recaps of top games in the Philly are plus some Mid Penn coverage. David was instrumental in helping with the PA All State selections. Curtis Watkins provides us with Delaware rankings.

LLhoops NEW!
Welcome Luke Brown for weekly column/wrap of the Mid Penn. Luke plans on giving us some Mid Penn Weekly coverage. Luke has worked with Bruce Badgley on Mid Penn live streams as a play by play announcer.

5 goes into 4
LL Sections were 5 last season- now 4 sections. Here is the new format

LL Live stream
We have scheduled a few games this season for the LL. Bruce Badgley will produce most of the games for llhoops. Warren Goodling (recently inducted to Lancaster Co. Hall of Fame) will be with us for most the the games for great analysis of HS hoops. Game schedule could change due to weather issues and staffing issues. Our first scheduled game is slated for Dec 16th- Penn Manor @ McCaskey. We are hoping to broadcast the LL finals for the 5th year as well. Most games will be free source via our Youtube page. We might be doing some District 3 final games depending on match-ups and fees – these games will probably be fee based with NFHS.

Where is the 50th book?
“The 50 Years of LL Boys Basketball “ is currently in the layout stage. Dell and Mike Gross co-authored the book. Included in the book are past players/coaches, decade articles, LL history, Coaches records, and standings. Contributors to the project include: Andy Herr, John Walk, Mark Palczewski, Max Molina, Hosh Posh Photography, LNP Media Group, and Gordie Jones (writing and editing help). The project has been in the works for over a year. We will release it as soon as it is ready – Amazon Kindle ($4.99) and print on demand ($14.99). We are hoping for a pre-Christmas release but….stay tuned.

We will post them as soon as teams/coaches send them our way. Usually we have most by the end of the first week of games.
